OEM Procedure

Customers often have a current design, sometime a sample, and they need quality outsourcing they can rely on to deliver on time and to specifications. EnTrans is a powerful OEM supplier of charging equipment with the capabilities to meet and exceed your OEM development expectations. Our step by step OEM process ensures all details are communicated clearly and keeps everyone on the same page throughout the process. The basic process is outlined below.
Step 1Step 1: Outsourcing Decision

You have a current design and your company decides to outsource.

ODM Step 2Step 2: NDA

You find EnTrans is a strong OEM supplier with the necessary capabilities.

In order to protect everyone’s interests, we sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

ODM Step 3Step 3: Project Initiation

Following the NDA, you provide us your design, we review it, and hold a project initiation meeting.

At the meeting, we go over all the detailed design, specifications, and other requirements together. We prefer to have this meeting in person, but can use Zoom or another method if your team aren’t available in-person.

ODM Step 4Step 4: Quotation

Our quote will include unit price, and separate line items for R&D costs, prototyping, and tooling, if necessary. The quote will also include R&D, prototyping, and tooling lead times with milestones, production lead times, and shipping costs and lead times if we’re handling the shipping – we can deliver anywhere in the world EXW, FOB, CIF, DDU, or DDP.

We also offer USA warehousing and fulfilment.

ODM Step 6Step 5: First Article Approval

EnTrans delivers the prototype or production samples per our quotation timeline.

You review the samples. If necessary, we adjust our processes until you are satisfied with our production.

You approve the project and send a purchase order for volume production. We being the material procurement process, then mass produce to your specification per the timeline in our quotation.
Service and SupportStep 7: Service and Support
EnTrans provides service and support from our factories in Shenzhen, China and our US Offices in Lansing, Michigan and Quakertown, Pennsylvania.

The EnTrans R&D center has the capability to design charging solutions to your requirements and exceed your expectations. Our step by step ODM process ensures all details are communicated clearly and keeps everyone on the same page throughout the process. The basic process is outlined below.

You have a basic idea of the charging equipment you need, but don’t have a design or a sample.

You find EnTrans is a strong ODM supplier with the necessary capabilities. We can take your idea and design/develop it to meet or exceed your expectations.

In order to protect everyone’s interests, we sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

ODM Step 3Step 3: Project Initiation

Following the NDA, we hold a project initiation meeting.

At the meeting we go over your idea, the necessary performance specifications and design requirements for the new charging solution. We prefer to have this meeting in person, but can use Zoom or another method if your team aren’t available in-person.

Our quote will include production unit price, with separate line items for R&D costs, prototyping, and tooling, if necessary. blankStep 5: Design Approval

EnTrans provides the designs for your review and approval.

Typically, it takes 5 to 10 days from the Project Initiation meeting to a new design.

ODM Step 6Step 6: First Article Approval

EnTrans delivers prototypes if included in the quotation schedule, and revises them as needed until you’re satisfied with the prototype.

EnTrans tools for production and provides production-intent samples for first article inspection, and adjusts if needed until you’re satisfied with the production units.

You approve the project and send a purchase order for volume production.
